How to use the Google Review Link Generator
- 1
Find your Place ID with Google's free Place ID Finder (search your business name, then copy the ID that starts with ChIJ).
- 2
Paste it into the field above. Your review link and QR code appear instantly.
- 3
Test the link once on your phone, then copy it into your texts, emails, receipts and website.
Why a direct review link matters
Reviews are one of the strongest signals in the Google Maps local pack, and they are what customers read before they call. Asking for a review is easy. The drop-off happens in the next step: a customer who has to search for your profile, find the reviews tab and then the write button often gives up.
A direct link removes those steps. It opens the star rating and review box on the first tap, on both phones and desktops.
Where to use your review link
Ask within a day of finishing the job, while the result is fresh. The best places to put the link:
- A short text message after the appointment or delivery
- Your invoice, receipt or job completion email
- A QR code on the counter, the truck or a leave-behind card
- Your email signature and a "Review us" button on your website
Stay inside Google's review rules
Ask every customer, not only the happy ones. Google's policy does not allow review gating (filtering who gets asked), offering discounts or gifts in exchange for reviews, or posting reviews for your own business. Breaking these rules can get reviews removed or the profile suspended.
Reply to every review, good or bad, within a few days. Replies show future customers that a real team is behind the profile.
Frequently asked questions
What is a Google Place ID?
A Place ID is a unique code Google assigns to every business on Google Maps. It usually starts with ChIJ. You can look yours up for free with Google's Place ID Finder.
Can I get a review link from my Google Business Profile instead?
Yes. In your Business Profile, choose "Ask for reviews" to get a short g.page link. Both links open the same review form. The Place ID link works even when you are not logged in to the profile.
Does this tool store my business details?
No. The link and QR code are built in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server.
How many reviews do I need to rank in the map pack?
There is no fixed number. What matters is having more recent, detailed reviews than the businesses you compete with in your area, plus a steady flow of new ones.
