Privacy Policy

Information you give us

When you send a form (for example a free audit request) we receive the details you type: your email, and optionally your name, website and message. When you book a call, Calendly collects your booking details under its own privacy policy and shares them with us so we can hold the call.

The free SEO tools

The tools at ranktactix.com/tools run entirely in your browser. What you type into a tool is not sent to our server or to anyone else. To save you retyping, your inputs are stored in your own browser (localStorage) until you clear them with the "Clear saved inputs" link or your browser settings.

We do record anonymous usage events, such as "a link was copied in the UTM builder", so we know which tools are useful. These events never include what you typed.

Analytics

We use three analytics tools to understand how the site is used and to improve it:

• Our own first-party analytics: pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, referring site, campaign tags, device type, browser, language and time zone, linked to a random ID stored in your browser. We don't store your IP address; a salted, daily-changing hash is used only to stop abuse.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC), which uses cookies to measure visits and conversions.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation), which records anonymized interactions such as clicks and scrolling to show how pages are used. Form fields are masked.

Your choices

• If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we don't load Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity or our own analytics at all.
• You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time.
• Google offers an opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics, and Microsoft explains Clarity's data practices in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

How we use information

• To reply to your request and deliver the work you ask for
• To understand which pages and tools are useful, and fix what isn't
• To keep the site and forms secure and free of spam

Sharing

We share information only with the service providers that run the site and our business: our web host (Hostinger), Google, Microsoft, Calendly and our email provider. Each processes data under its own terms. We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep it

Form requests are kept while we're in contact and for up to 24 months afterward unless you ask us to delete them sooner. First-party analytics events are kept for up to 26 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under California and other state privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. We honor these requests for everyone. Email hello@ranktactix.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, forms are protected against spam and abuse, and access to stored requests is restricted and password protected. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect the information we hold.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
